Application Process

Thank you for applying with New Braunfels ISD.  Prior to completing your online application, please take a few moments to review or print out these instructions for reference while you are completing your online application.

New Braunfels ISD is now using a new application system.  All applicants who have applied before May 1st, 2009 must complete a new application in order to remain an active candidate for employment with NBISD.

You must complete an online application in order to be considered for employment with NBISD.  Applications are reviewed by the hiring principal/supervisor.  Interviews will only be scheduled with applicants who have completed their online application.  If you are interested in a current opening, please email the campus principal directly to inform them that you have applied online.

Online applications will remain active for one calendar year.

Please have the following information available while filling out your online application:

• Teaching Certificate(s); if applicable
• College Transcripts; if applicable
• To/From dates of teaching and non-teaching experience, name and address of organization, name of supervisor and contact information
• Name, job title, address, phone number for 3 references

NEW USER Instructions for logging onto our online application center:

1. Select the position which you are applying for
2. Click “Apply for This Position”
3. Click “Create a New Account and Apply”
4. Complete all required fields, click “save”
5. Continue filling in online application, please remember to click “Save and Continue” when prompted at the bottom of each page
6. You will be given the OPTION to upload up to 3 documents/attachments;  It is NOT required to upload any documents/attachments
7. Upon completing your online application, you will be prompted to review your information and complete the “Application Confirmation Statement” located at the bottom of the page;  after completing required “Application Confirmation Statement”, click “Save and Submit”
8. Please print the following page for your records
9. If you provided an e-mail address, you will receive an e-mail to confirm the details of your submitted application. You may check the status of your application and interviews at any time by entering your user name and password on our careers homepage
