A variety of scholarship and financial aid materials are available in the NBHS College & Career Center.

Current scholarship offerings are posted on the bulletin board so students can copy the information or students can request paper applications when available.

Current editions of Funding Your Education by the US Department of Education is available.

Local Scholarship packets will be distributed in early February to graduating seniors. Students may come in to the College & Career Center at that time to review the requirements for each local scholarship. The deadline for returning all completed scholarship applications to Mrs. Crews in the College & Career Center is Friday, March 16th, 2007 by 3pm  NO EXCEPTIONS

Texas B-On-Time Loan Program

The purpose of the Texas B-On-Time Loan Program is to provide eligible Texas students

no-interest loans to attend colleges and universities in Texas.  If the student meets specified goals, the entire loan amount can be forgiven upon graduation.  For more information go to: www.hhloans.com/borrowers/BOTFactSheet.cfm

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) represents 600,000 small-business members nationwide is offeering scholarships to young entrepreneurs.  Please see Mrs. Crews in the Career Center for information on how to apply.  These Scholarships are worth $1000.00 each and there are 300 of them.
